Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryDAVID CHARLES GOLUB It is with great sadness we announce the passing of David Charles Golub, on Friday, August 4, 2017. David was born on July 25, 1950, and recently celebrated his 67th birthday. Following his battle with cancer, David passed away peacefully at home, surrounded in death, as in life, by his loved ones. The family is grateful that his suffering has finally ended. David's wife, Melody, children, Debra and Daniel, step-daughter Katelyn, son-in-law Ryan, grandchildren, Kaelyn and Zander, and his brother Larry (wife Bonny), uncle Earl (wife Gloria), many sisters-in-law, brother-in-law, nieces and nephews, are left with full hearts thanks to the dedicated love that David shared with us all. David was predeceased by his parents, Sydney and Edith Golub, and brother Murray Golub. David was a believer in education. He completed his studies at the University of Manitoba with a B.A. and L.L.B. He later established himself as a prominent lawyer at the firm of Levene Tadman Golub. David had a passion for giving and spent many volunteer hours dedicated to North End Housing, Winnipeg Blue Bombers Board, Teulon Golf Course, and many others. He received several awards over the years for his outstanding community support. When he wasn't dedicating his free time to the above, he enjoyed golfing, curling, and travel, as well as lazy days at the cottage with family and friends. We would like to thank all the family and friends that supported us throughout our final journey with David, as well as to the many doctors, nurses and home care persons that cared so compassionately for him during his illness. Funeral services were held on Monday, August 7, 2017, at Etz Chayim, 123 Matheson Avenue. Your spirit will always and forever be in our hearts.

I am so saddened to hear of David's passing. I had the pleasure of being on the opposite side of many deals with David. Dealing with David was always a pleasure. David was always thinking of how he could achieve the best for his client and it was a wonderful to know that together we could work out difficult issues in an intelligent, professional and respectful manner. The legal community has suffered a great loss. Of course, the legal community's loss is nothing compared to the loss of his family and in this respect, please accept my heartfelt and deepest condolences. - Posted by: Curtis (Law) on: Aug 16, 2017
