Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryFAREED KHAN Fareed khan, aka Sharp man, aged 69, died peacefully on August 15, 2017 in the comfort of his home. Fareed was born March 24, 1948 in Diego Martin, Trinidad and Tobago. He moved to Winnipeg in 1970 where he put down his roots. Fareed joined Via Rail shortly after and retired early at 55. He endured a few health challenges along the way but always came out the winner. Fareed's infectious smile, funny jokes and his love for all will always remain a great memory. He will be missed by everyone including Sita, his children, Sheena, Myron and Vikki, his granddaughter Milania, his brother and sister-in-law, Fazal and Shirley, and his numerous sisters and brothers in New York, Toronto, Texas, and Ottawa. Funeral will take place Friday, August 18, 2017 11:30 a.m. at Cropo Funeral Home, 1442 Main St., followed by Muslim Service at The Mosque on 2445 Waverley then to Transcona Cemetery, 5014 Dugald Rd., where he will be laid to rest. Thank you for all your love and support through our loss. Inna lillahi wa inna ilayhi rajiun. Allah we belong too and Allah we return too.

I SHARED SOME LAUGHS JUST BEFORE HE RETIRED THAT NIGHT, LITTLE DID I KNOW I WOULD NOT HEAR FROM HIM AGAIN. WE SHARED A LOT OF FUN SPECIAL MEMORIES HE WAS MY BROTHER AND MY BEST FRIEND OF ABOUT 45 YEARS. I AM SADDENED BY HIS PASSING. TO Sita Moose Fazal and Kids and family.
