Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryPETER SCHULZ June 21, 1959 - August 5, 2017 With a heavy heart we announce the passing of Peter Franz Richard Schulz on August 5, 2017. Peter was predeceased by his mother Gertraude Schulz and is survived by daughters, Paetra and Alexandra, brother Manfred (Lorraine), nephews, Wesley and Justin, and niece Christa. Peter was born in Vancouver, BC and moved to Germany as a young child before settling in Winnipeg with his mother. He spent time in Brandon as a sports announcer before moving back to Winnipeg where he became a successful salesman. He was very passionate about sports and loved playing baseball and hockey and teaching his kids how to play sports. Peter loved the outdoors and camping with his daughters and friends. He recently moved back to Vancouver and spent the last year reconnecting with old friends and familiar places prior to his passing. Peter struggled with addiction throughout his adult life and we ask that in lieu of flowers you kindly make donations to the Addictions Foundation of Manitoba. Alle unsere Liebe. We will miss you.

Peter and I met around 2007 in Osborne Village, Winnipeg, Mb... We hung out in the circle alot... Peter and I had the kinda relationship as friends we could talk for hours. Just about anything at all. Peter was the kinda person you just felt comfortable with - a great talker. Down to earth and heartfelt. I had moved to Vancouver in 2011 but we always stayed in touch on a regular basis. I flew back to Winnipeg as Peter took me to the Cher Concert. What a Concert - I will always be grateful for your friendship Peter, the Laughs the disagreements all of it. You are already truly Missed my Friend... I know you're looking down saying I told you Vickie... But I will always miss you Peter! Rest Easy Peter! I will never forget you! Peter was a great friend ever since we met back in grade 7. We stayed in touch over the years and finally he came back home to where he lived out his last days. I miss you old friend. I know you have found peace now - Posted by: Joe Guth (Friend) on: Aug 20, 2017
