I met Uncle Danny in 1973. He was always so gracious when Paul Gerula and I stopped in to visit. When I moved to Winnipeg with Edward, Christopher and Olivia, we stayed in touch with him. When the kids Baba (Pauline Gerula/Wozniak) came to the city to visit, we always spent time with Danny. We lost touch in the past few years but he was often in my thoughts. Uncle Danny was the only link my children had left to the DANYLEYKO side of their family. I only now found out about his passing away as I was getting ready to send out my "late" Christmas cards and did a search. Our condolences to Uncle Danny's family. I know he loved you all very much and was so very proud of his family. - Posted by: Connie Ewald (Gerula) (neice in-law) on: Dec 29, 2017

Our deepest condolences to Danny's family. He will be dearly missed. The "beatnicks" will have so many fond memories of sitting with Dan in the driveway and chatting about "stuff", eating his tomatoes and other veggies he worked so hard to grow. Where he wasn't working in his garden, cutting everyone's grass, there was always a friendly wave when we drove by as he sat in the driveway with his never ending cup of coffee :) The street won't be the same with him gone. The boys (beatnicks) are gonna miss him. May he rest in peace. - Posted by: Tamar and Family (Neighbor) on: Aug 21, 2017
