ALICE L. MILLS (KELLSEY) After a brief illness on Wednesday, August 9, 2017, Alice L. Mills passed away at the age of 91 years. Alice was predeceased by her husband of 61 years, Al Mills and her nine siblings. Left to cherish Alice's memory are her children, Don, Trish (Doug), Shelby (Jack), Diane (Brian), and Carol (Andy), grandchildren, Derek, Scott, Alyson, Kyle, Lorelle, Alanna and Samantha, great-grandson Odin and many nieces and nephews. Alice was born in McAuley, Manitoba and grew up on a farm near Willen, Manitoba. As a young woman she moved to Winnipeg, attended a business college and subsequently enjoyed working at Manitoba Blue Cross. After marrying Al she raised her children and was very involved in their lives and the community. She was a loving and caring person who will be missed by her children and grandchildren who loved her dearly. She will also be missed by her friend Frank, who kept her company and shared many laughs over the last few years. We would like to thank the staff at St. Boniface Hospital for their care. Respecting Alice's wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no service. In lieu of flowers, family and friends may make a donation in Alice's name to St. Boniface Hospital or a charity of their choice.
