I knew Kay for many years in Winnipeg. She was a good friend. I was there when she met Gary and when they got married in their backyard in St. Vital. After Gary’s untimely death Kay moved to Victoria. I was lucky to be able to visit her and Stan there. My family and I eventually moved to Nanaimo and visited Kay and Stan on many occasions. Kay and I lost track of each other in the past few years. I wanted to see if I could find her online and found the obituary for her. Rest In Peace, old friend. Many blessings to you and your family. - Posted by: Jan Gilchrist (Friend) on: Jan 10, 2019

Kay & I met when we lived in the nurses residence, working at the “san” We kept our friendship going, for years until I lost track of her about 2 -3 years ago. I was “ best lady” at her & Gary’s wedding... wasn’t that a party! I did not know she had passed until last night. Something was nagging at me to look for her. I am so very sorry to the family, I am so sorry Lee & Kerry for losing your mum. 🌹🌹Therese - Posted by: Therese Verne (A friend from way back) on: Mar 20, 2018
