BONITA (BONNY) MARIE DORIS ZEKE Bonny attended the Gascon Elementary and Oak Point Schools and graduated in Lundar and Eriksdale. She went to work in Winnipeg, Ontario, Saskatchewan and Alberta. Continuing her education, Bonny graduated from the Health Care Aide course at Red River Community College and enjoyed a lengthy career working for Home Care. In her free time she loved attending hockey games in Winnipeg and watching hockey on TV with her parents. Her cats, Copper and Dixie were her pride and joy. Bonny also travelled many times to the USA. She was an avid reader, especially mystery novels. Bonny had a special place in her heart for nature and wolves. Bonny struggled with terminal cancer where she succumbed to her illness on August 15, 2017 at the E. M. Crowe Memorial Hospital under the care of Dr. Soliman and CancerCare Manitoba. Thanks to her friends who brought food and goodies to Bonny at home and while in the hospital and to her good friends who visited. Thank you for being there.
