BILL MUTALA
Born: Jan 25, 1932
Date of Passing: Aug 17, 2017
Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryBILL MUTALA Peacefully, on August 17, 2017, surrounded by his family, Bill passed away in Portage la Prairie, Manitoba. He is predeceased by his first wife Pat, his parents, Andrej and Helena, and his sister Anne. He is lovingly remembered by his wife Jean, daughters, Cathie, Karen and Heather, grandchildren, Christine, Mark, Michelle and Jessica, great-grandchildren, Weston, Gage, Carson, Chloe and Hunter, sisters, Frances and Mille, and many other family and friends. Dad was born on January 25, 1932 in Kenaston, Saskatchewan and at a young age moved with his family to Woodside, Manitoba where he resided until starting his career with CP Rail spanning 40 years. Dad met our mom, Pat, in Brandon in 1955 and married a year later. They moved to Portage la Prairie where they raised their daughters. Dad was a devoted family man and friend. In later life Dad met Jean whom he married in 2006. Dad supported and loved each and every one of us and was very proud of us. He was our "rock". We would like to thank all those who visited Dad and sent prayers on his behalf. And, we want to express our heartfelt appreciation to all the wonderful home care workers, staff of the LPM and staff of the Portage District General Hospital who cared for Dad over the last several years. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Diabetes Canada (Manitoba Branch), The Heart & Stroke Foundation of Manitoba or The Lion's Prairie Manor Foundation. The service will be held Monday, August 21 at 11:00 a.m. at Good Shepard Church in Portage. Dad will be missed by all and we will carry him in our hearts forever. He will be remembered as a loving husband and the BEST Dad and Grandad EVER! Condolences may be left at our website: www.ronaldmoffitmemorialservices.com/ obituaries.
