ARTHUR FREDERICK FERRIS August 23, 1917 - 100 Years Ago Today Arthur Ferris of Rathwell, MB, perished in a deluge of earth and shellfire during the battles for Hill 70 near Lens, France. It would be two years before his remains were discovered, his mother informed by a respectful letter from the soldier who found him. Rest in peace Uncle Arthur. You are not forgotten.
