Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryKEN CROFT July 17, 1948 - August 4, 2017 It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Ken. Dad passed away peacefully at home on August 4. Left to cherish his memory are his children, Jamie (Kelly) and Amanda (Rob), his grandchildren, Alyssa, Tyler, Justin and Jerrica, his two brothers, Gordon (Linda) and Doug (Vi), sister Janice and sister-in-law Lynda, and his faithful buddy Crue, along with numerous family and friends. Ken was predeceased by his parents, Reg and Lila, his brother Bob, niece Angie, and nephew Grant. Dad will always be remembered as the guy who could fix anything, a true handyman of all trades. Even in the last few years when things got tough he was still fixing cars, often leaving tools behind so he could return the next day and sneak a beer or two. A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, August 27 from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the Four Crowns Hotel, 1030 McPhillips St.

Kenny I first met you when I was 15 and I lived on Tinniswood St. You were older than me but hung with my brother and his friends. You took me to the drive in, in your Studebaker. Years later after out divorces in the mid 1990's we got together and dated, three different times. I remember your apt. on Mountain. We had a lot of fun together. You were an awesome mechanic and often fixed my old cars. You loved your son and daughter dearly, always talking about Jamie and Amanda. I did meet Amanda and she was so nice to me. You were a very kind man, very sensitive and emotional. Those of us fortunate enough to get to know you knew you to be a true friend, and would give the shirt of your back. Last time I saw you was in 2010. You stopped in on your way fishing in Petersfield, which you loved! I will never forget your love for me or your big silly smile. You will be missed. R.I.P my lifelong friend. - Posted by: Donna Olender (Friend) on: Aug 26, 2017

I have known Ken or Pencil for many years. We had many beers together and when I needed help with my car he was always there to help, but he would say just make sure you have a nice cold beer for me, that was a given. We use to see him at Peterfield's trailer park and he sure liked to party but it was what you did when you went out there. I will miss the times we had together but I will always remember him as a true friend. Wherever he is in heaven I am sure there is a lot of arguing going on as its his way or no way. I will miss him dearly. - Posted by: Connie Batenchuk (Good friend) on: Aug 26, 2017
