Condolences & Memories (5 entries)

  • Dear Jan and family, So sorry to hear of Doug's passing. He will be dearly missed. We had the best of visits with him in July when he stopped by the office and we must have visited a good hour and a half. He never seemed to run out of things to talk about. Then again at the Fair & Rodeo, he kept coming to us to tell us a joke or to read one that he carried around in his scooter basket. Take care. - Posted by: Mike & Billie Ratkowski (Campground friends) on: Aug 29, 2017

  • Dearest Jeannette, Our heartfelt condolences go out to you and your family. We will surely miss the presence of a truly warm, caring and welcoming kind person. Doug had the best sense of humor ever, he always made us smile and laugh. I will always remember the many enjoyable times we all shared. Love and hugs always from Holly & Wally - Posted by: Holly Coutu - Bults (Family - Friend) on: Aug 28, 2017

  • Uncle Iggy, you gave us all a reason to fight for what is right and to enjoy what we have fought for. I will miss your sick and stupid humour and how easy it was to laugh at you and with you. Please take care of yourself and our loved ones wherever you may be and we will do the same for you here. Miss you buddy! - Posted by: Jarrod Gesell (Camping family) on: Aug 27, 2017

  • Dougie and I were best buddies up until I joined the Army at 17 years old. He taught me many things about life. I thought of him often but unfortunately never followed up on looking him up. - Posted by: Nick Kazimir (Childhood friend) on: Aug 26, 2017
