Mom passed away peacefully on Friday, August 25. Beloved mother, sister, aunt, grandmother, great-grandmother, relative and friend. Mom is survived by her children Kirby (Leslie), Pam, Denise, Mike (Alexandra) and George; her sister Lillian Starr, adopted daughter Pam Thomas, and grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, many family members and friends. Cremation has taken place, a feast to honour her life will be held at a later date. Condolences to my cousins, and all my family members who have lost a very special lady, she was our rock when we all faced hardships, her home was always open to us. Dianne has left an empty place in the hearts of all who knew her. She was kind, generous and forever cheerful. She never complained and was an inspiration to others with physical problems. Dianne never failed to make me laugh and that was a gift. Every winter I wear the lovely scarf she gave me and think of her. Lillian...my thoughts and prayers go out to you and her family.
