GERTRUDE IDA (KREBS) KLEIN November 5, 1933 - April 25, 2017 After a lengthy illness, Gertrude (Trudy) Klein passed away peacefully at her home in Anaheim, CA. Born in Winnipeg, MB to Henry and Ida (Alstadt) Krebs, she moved to California with her husband, George, in 1956. Trudy was predeceased by George in 1980, and by her son, Kurt, in 2014. She is survived by her brother Kenneth Krebs and his family, along with a number of cousins. A funeral service was held in Anaheim in May, 2017, and a memorial service will take place at the Friedensthal Zion Lutheran Cemetery (Ridgeville, MB) on September 9, 2017, at 11:30 a.m. It was Trudy's wish that half of her ashes and those of her son, be interred in the Alstadt family plot. For those who so wish, donations in Trudy's name may be made to Canadian Lutheran World Relief.
