KEN SANDERS February 7, 1956 - August 25, 2017 Surrounded by family, it is with much love and sorrow we share the passing of Ken, an amazing man whom we call dad, grandpa, brother, uncle and friend. Left to cherish his memory are his daughters Laura (Brent) and Lindsey (Tim); granddaughters Brooklyn, Keirra, Sienna, Peyton and Ella; special friend Colleen; brothers Eddie and Allan, along with extended family members and friends. Our sincere thanks to Dr. L. Oppenheimer, the nurses and aides in IICU at Health Sciences Centre for everything you did for our dad and us. Cremation has taken place as well as a private family interment. In tears we saw you sinking, We watched you fade away. You suffered much in silence, You fought so hard to stay. You faced your task with courage, Your spirit did not bend, But still you kept on fighting, Until the very end. We saw you getting tired So when we saw you sleeping So peaceful, free from pain, We could not wish you back To suffer that again. Always remembered, always cherished.
