JOHN DONALD STADNYK August 13, 1937 - August 22, 2017 John passed peacefully at the West Parry Sound Health Centre, Ontario on August 22, 2017 at the age of 80. Lovingly remembered by wife Barbara; children, Byron (Patti), Kim (Rob) and Tricia (Matt). Proud grandfather to R.J., Tyler, Brandon, Alexa and Taylor. John is survived by sister Nellie, and predeceased by parents, Peter and Tekla, and sister Mary. John and Barbara enjoyed 42 years of marriage and raising a family together, sharing a passion for skiing, golf and Tai Chi. John was an avid hockey player until this past February 2017! The family would like to thank all who supported us in keeping John comfortable through his illness. A memorial service will be held at St. George's Anglican Church (321 Pandora Ave., Winnipeg) on Sunday, October 1, 2017 at 2:00 p.m., Rev. Helen Kennedy officiating. If desired, donations to CancerCare Manitoba or Prostate Cancer Canada would be appreciated.

Bill the kids and myself send our deepest condolences to the passing of Uncle John. I Will always carry special memories of our visits to Winnipeg and the times you visited us here in Alberta!
