Date of Passing: Aug 22, 2017
Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryKATHLEEN (KAY) ZUKOWSKI It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our mother and Baba, Kay Zukowski, on Tuesday, August 22, 2017 at the Seven Oaks Hospital. She was predeceased by her husband John, her parents, William and Mary Piseski and sister Helen (Mike) Lesyk. Remaining to forever cherish her memory are her children: Gerry (Lynn), Sherrill, Penny (George), Marianne (Dan) and grandchildren: Kelly (Leah), Kerry (Carolyn), Jarrett (Alyssa) and Meghan. Mom had many hobbies and interests such as reading, painting with oils/watercolour, knitting, crocheting and playing board games. She enjoyed travelling. Mom loved to cook and baking was her specialty! Ukrainian food and many delicacies were enjoyed by everyone around her kitchen table. She leaves a legacy of favourite family recipes. Mom was a past member of St. Ivan Suchavsky Church and sang in the church choir with other members of her family. She enjoyed the camaraderie of this extended family, developing friendships with everyone she met. As to her wishes, cremation has taken place. A private interment will be held at a later date. She will be deeply missed by all and will remain forever in our memories. May she rest in peace. "Vichnya Pamyat"

Our deepest sympathy to the Zukowski family, especially Gerry, Lynn, Kelly, Kerry and Sherrill. Mrs. Zukowski was a very kind and gentle lady. We met and talked with her on several occasions, and she was always very cheerful, friendly, and happy to stop and chat with us. She was always interested in hearing how our family was doing and in turn, would share the news about hers. She will be missed! May precious memories sustain you at this very sad time. With sincere and heartfelt sympathy, Dave and Jeanne Unrau and family - Posted by: Dave and Jeanne Unrau () on: Sep 10, 2017
