RIANA HARVEY (KOWALUK)

RIANA HARVEY (nee KOWALUK) On Wednesday, August 30, 2017, a true angel left this world to join the others. Left to cherish Riana's memory are her son Bill Harvey, sisters Ludmila Neiles and Valerie (Glen) Turner, brother-in-law Arnold Hrabchak, numerous nephews and her niece. She was predeceased by her parents Maksym in 1967 and Olga Kowaluk in 1993, sisters Vera Hrabchak, Rosalie Kowaluk and Marie Rebalkin, infant brother Walter, and brothers-in-law Jim Neiles and Mike Rebalkin. Mom was born on May 28, 1938, four miles east of Arran, Saskatchewan on the farm on which she lived until she moved to Regina in 1956 to enter the workforce and continue her education. Shortly after, she moved to Winnipeg and continued to work as an administrative assistant until she left the workforce to raise her son, who will always love and miss her deeply. Special thanks to her sister Lu, sister and brother-in-law Val and Glen, and niece Debra Suderman for their support and assistance especially in her final months. Thanks also go to CancerCare Manitoba and Jocelyn House Hospice. As per Riana's wishes cremation has taken place. A private family interment will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Jocelyn House. Rest in peace, Mom! Thank you for everything!
