HAROLD THEODOR PENNER On March 17, 2017, Harold Theodor Penner, of Moreno Valley, California, passed away peacefully, with his wife, sister and brother-in-law at his side. Harold was born in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada on October 9, 1952, one of seven children of Jacob and Tina Penner. He is survived by his wife Janice Penner, with whom he shared 44 happy years of marriage. He is also survived by five of his siblings: sisters Katy and Ingrid, and brothers John, Wally, and Paul. He now joins his brother Werner, with whom he shared a special bond and there is comfort in knowing that they are together. He will also be missed by his extended family of many in-laws, nieces, nephews and cousins. Janice wishes to extend a special thanks to the team at Riverside University Medical Center who cared for him during his final few days and to her many wonderful friends and colleagues in Riverside, her sister Gloria (Cardwell-Hoeppner) and niece Kathryne (Cardwell) for their assistance and support. A Celebration of Life service will be held at 4:00 p.m. on September 19, 2017 in Winnipeg at Transcona Memorial United Church, 209 Yale Ave. West.
