ARMAND GERVAIS 1937 - 2017 Armand passed away peacefully, at Elizabeth Bruyere Hospital in Ottawa, on August 27, 2017 at the age of 80. Armand was born and raised in St. Eustache, Manitoba and lived his final years at Chateau de L'Ile, Gatineau, Quebec. He was predeceased by his mother Anne Marie Gervais (nee Cormier) and his father Albert Gervais. He is survived by his stepmother Cecile Gervais, his brothers Roger, Robert and Leonel, and his sister Diane, along with nephews and nieces and their families. A Commemorative Mass will be held at the l'Eglise Ste. Famille / Holy Family Church, 778 Archibald St., Winnipeg at 10:30 a.m., Saturday, September 23, 2017. The service will be officiated by Father Armand Le Gal. Following a lunch at the same location, the interment service will be held at the St. Eustache cemetery at 2:00 p.m. The family would like to thank the nurses and doctors at the Elizabeth Bruyere Hospital for their excellent care, along with his friends and family in the Ottawa region. A special thank you to Louise Letourneau, Marc Beaulieu, Lynn McCarragher, Patrick Halpin and Archbishop Emeritus Marcel Gervais for their special care and prayers in his final days.
