Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryWALTER PASCHAK May 19, 1926 - September 7, 2017 Peacefully, at Seven Oaks Hospital, Walter, aged 91 years, passed away. He was predeceased by his wife Olga, his parents, four brothers and one sister. He leaves to mourn his sons Patrick (Donna) and Greg (Teresa), his grandchildren Victoria, Steven (Yun Fang), Alan (Erika) and Matthew, great-grandson William, and numerous nieces and nephews. Walter was chairman of the Winnipeg School Division in 1966, chairman of the building committee for the Immaculate Heart of Mary School - for which he received a papal Knighthood as a Knight Commander of the order of St. Sylvester by Pope John XXIII. He was a long time member of the St. Nicholas Church Choir. Walter ran for the Conservative Party at the Federal level. A private family interment has taken place. A memorial service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Nicholas Building Fund.
