(CAMPEAU) HISCO (nee MONGRAIN) June 5, 1943 - September 11, 2017 "There is only one happiness in this life, to love and be loved" - George Sand On September 11, 2017, at approximately 12:30 p.m., June passed away following a brief battle with Cancer. June is survived by her cherished husband David, children Gina (Marty) of Ear Falls, ON, Gary (Lyne) of Gatineau, QC, Randy of Fort St. John, BC, Darren (Amy) of Red Lake, ON, Lori of Dunkerton IA and Ryan (Heather) of Vancouver, BC; and two stepchildren Caroline (James) of Winnipeg, MB and Andrew (Alexandra) of Victoria, BC. Seven grandsons, six stepgrandchildren and two great-grandsons are also left to remember her love. Honouring June's request, there will be no funeral service or memorial. Cremation has taken place. A heartfelt thank you to the staff on 3E of the Palliative ward at Riverview Health Centre for their kindness and compassion shown to June during her final days. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society in her memory.

I am so sorry to hear of June’s passing. I am Lynne Mongrain daughter of Romeo Mongrain . We all lived Uncle Fred Aunt Emily ( née Lafreniere) and us in Perron Gold Mines. I remember Junie (as I remember calling her) Lionel, Dillon (Scooter) ..I am sending you my phone number at my son’s house. We could meet?
