ERNIE KLYNE Joseph Jean Ernie Klyne (71), of Winnipeg, Manitoba, passed away, with many of the ones he laughed with, lived for and loved at his side, on Saturday, September 16, 2017 at the Grace Hospice. Born in Camperville, Manitoba to Gregory and Delia Klyne he lived his childhood years in Camperville, moved to Winnipeg as a young man and raised his family in Ste-Agathe, Manitoba. Ernie was an incredibly hard working and respected man who enjoyed sports, spending time with wife Alma, two children Jeff and Vince, and three grandchildren, Tyson, Coleton and Addison Klyne. He was a respected father, loving husband and worked his whole career as a supervisor with Macleods and Truserv Canada. In his spare time, he enjoyed playing golf and watching his favourite teams, the Winnipeg Jets, Blue Bombers and the Toronto Blue Jays. Ernie was very proud of his two sons, Jeff Klyne of Winnipeg, and Vince Klyne and his wife Cheryl of Halifax, Nova Scotia. He is also survived by his loving wife Alma; his siblings, Marilyn Richard, Valerie Lamirande, Denise Simpson, Stanley, Dorothy Laponite, George, Bernice Suidak, Raymond and Sharon Klyne; as well as his many nieces, nephews and other friends. Ernie was predeceased in death by his father Gregory, mother Delia, sister Corrine Rice, and brother Louie Klyne. The family would like to express their sincere gratitude to the dedicated staff of CancerCare Manitoba, Riverview Health Centre and the Grace Hospice. Their dedication and effort to provide quality care over the last 17 years were a heartwarming blessing to the entire family. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, September 20 from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. at the Christian Life Assembly, 1042 Jefferson Avenue, Winnipeg, Manitoba.
