EDWARD KERYLUK With great sadness we announce the passing of Ed at the age of 88. He will be lovingly remembered and forever missed by his wife of 63 years, Florence (nee Czurak), his daughters Corilee and Leanne (Jason Knights), and grandchildren Brandon and Avery Kinsella and Caitlyn Knights. Edward is survived by his brother Elmer (Jean) Keryluk, sister Florence (Ron) Osesky and extended family members. He was predeceased by his daughter Darla, his sisters Anne (Frank) Miller and Jean (Larry) Thomas, his brothers Frank and Bert, and parents Nicholas and Paulina. Ed was born in Meleb, Manitoba and resided in Winnipeg, Edmonton, Mississauga and Calgary during a 41 year career with Massey-Ferguson. In 1996 Ed was inducted into the Manitoba Softball Hall of Fame in recognition of his 10 year playing career, including two Manitoba provincial championships (1955 and 1956), two league MVP awards (1951 and 1952) and was the 1959 league batting champion with a season average of .528. A memorial service will be held at the McInnis and Holloway Deerfoot South Chapel on Saturday, September 23 at 1:00 p.m. Donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society of Calgary 800, 7015 McLeod Trail SW, Calgary, AB T2H 2K6.
