BERNICE (BUNNY) BROWN It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Bernice (Bunny) Brown (nee Batrenchuk) on September 23, 2017, at the age of 88. Bunny grew up in Brooklands and lived most of her life in the North End, until she and Len moved to Bird's Hill. Bunny was active in the Garden City Ladies Bowling League and golfed at Harborview and Kildonan Park golf courses. Bunny was predeceased by her husband, Len. She is survived by her children: Denise of Edmonton and her son Ryan; Douglas (Cindy) of Stratford, Ontario and their children, Amanda (David) and son Carter, and Ian (Andrea); and David (Rena) of Winnipeg and children, Alexander, Sara and Joshua. She is also survived by her sister Marie, and nieces, Judy, Carol and Kathy. A celebration of her life will be held at Holy Redeemer Church, 264 Donwood Drive, on October 17 at 11:00 a.m. A reception will follow. We would like to thank the extraordinary staff of River East Personal Care Home for their compassionate care of Bunny and our family. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to a charity of your choice.
