HAZEL PAULETTE LEE It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Hazel Paulette Lee (nee Zelanko), on Sunday, September 24, 2017 at the age of 69. She now goes to be with her beloved spouse Doug, as well as her father John and mother Aini and other family and friends who were predeceased. She leaves to mourn her passing her sons Jonathon and Richard; brother Leonard; sisters, Cathie (Wally) and Sandra (Chris); sisters-in-law, Janice, Carol, and Gloria; brothers-in-law, Bradly and Peter; close friends, Gary and Eleanor, Keith and Marion; and numerous nieces, nephews, grandnieces and nephews, co-workers and friends across the country. Hazel worked for most of her life at Eaton's and then after a short time off for education, Health Canada. She loved her many cats, her iPad games, and to plan activities for her friends and family. When love was needed by any of them, she would provide food, gifts, and comfort, no questions asked. In recent years her health deteriorated, and her sons helped take care of her in all ways possible. Thank you to Selkirk Regional Health Centre and Health Sciences Centre - Full Observation Unit for your help and comfort. As per her wishes, cremation has taken place, and there will be a reception in the Gilbart Reception Centre, Selkirk, MB, on Tuesday, October 3, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Additional parking is available at the rear of the building. A more elaborate service is planned in the spring for close friends and family. In lieu of flowers, a trust fund is being planned for the family, however, donations to the HSC foundation will also be appreciated.
