Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryPETRO (PAT) SOWSUN It is with great sadness, we announce the peaceful passing of Pat on Wednesday, September 27, 2017, at the Oakville Trafalgar Memorial Hospital in Oakville, ON, at the age of 94. Beloved father of Michael (Manuela), Stephen (Kathryn) and Lisa (Chris). Cherished grandfather "gida" of Shannon (Jim), David (Laura), Nicholas, Alexander (Kristina), Meghan, Connor and Colton and great-grandfather of Brooklyn, Lilah, Barrett, Linnea and Aria. Predeceased by his sister Anastasia Craig and survived by his sister Olga Wasson and ex-wife Leona (Ken). He will be greatly missed by his many nephews, nieces, cousins and friends. Visitation will take place on Wednesday, October 4, 2017 from 12:00 to 1:00 p.m. at the Glen Oaks Funeral Home and Cemetery (3164 Ninth Line, Oakville, ON). Service to follow in the chapel at 1:00 p.m. Interment at Glen Oaks Funeral Home and Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to be made to St. Andrew's College in Winnipeg. I'm sorry Mike, Steve and Lisa and extended family and Leona. I've known Pat since the the early 70 's and was always an up spirited person I enjoyed having conversations with. Always had lots of stories to tell. Our families go way back. he sat at our table at mom's funeral and entertained us all as he always did. He will be missed. As i do , remember the memories of him and the great times you all had with him. That no one can ever take away. Be strong and God Bless.
