After a second courageous fight with cancer, Jamie passed away peacefully, surrounded by many of her loved ones. Left to cherish wonderful family memories are her beloved husband Don; children: Christopher, Courtney (Joel) and Aaron; as well as her parents Stan and Sue Arrowsmith, two brothers: Randy (Debbie) and Michael (Wendy), and one sister Tanis (Dean), as well as many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by Don's sister Heather, and Jamie's best friend Linda. On October 5, 1961, Jamie was born in Winnipeg, Manitoba, the third child and oldest daughter of Stan and Sue Arrowsmith. Jamie spent her younger years in Winnipeg till her husband whisked her away to Saskatoon after their marriage in 1981. Jamie was a stay at home mom and home maker until about five years ago when she rejoined the workforce ending up at the Co-op on 8th Street. Jamie loved to do crafts, particularly cross stitch, sewing (dolls and bears), and an assortment of other useful items. She even sewed her own wedding dress. A remembrance of Jamie's life will be held on Saturday, October 7, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Mary's Road United Church (613 St. Mary's Road). All that knew her are welcome to share this moment with us. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Royal University Hospital in Saskatoon.
