RAYMOND BOEHLER Peacefully on September 26, 2017, Raymond Boehler passed away after a long battle with cancer. He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Sylvia, daughters Deborah (Doug) and Char, grandchildren, Cassidy and Phoebe, sisters Gladys, Sylvia, Val, Sharon (Ron), and brother Brian (Angie), cousins, nieces and nephews. Ray was born in Emerson, Manitoba to Edna (Agatha) and Henry Boehler. Our family thanks everyone who spent hours with Ray in the hospital, at his bedside, so he would always feel comforted and loved. We feel such gratitude for family, friends, prayers, cards and words of encouragement. We are so very fortunate to know each and every one of you. Thank you to the staff at RR6 in the Health Sciences Centre, Gateway Church and Cropo Funeral Home for helping us through the process. Per Ray's wishes there will be no services. Flowers gratefully declined. If you wish to make a donation to CancerCare Manitoba or Save the Children this is how you can honour his life.

Ray was a vibrant and outgoing person and we'll remember him with warmth. Especially we'll remember all the great costumes he came up with at the annual corn roasts which were held to raise funds for our Christmas hampers. He was always there to help with the shopping and delivering hampers to the needy families. He will be missed by us and everyone who knew him. - Posted by: Dianne and Art (Family) on: Sep 30, 2017

Ray was such a kind and gentle person, and will be missed by all who knew him. From the times he and Vern had in class at Miles Mac, to his married life with Sylvia and family life thereafter - his character never waivered. You could always count on Ray with his warm and caring way, concern for all, and welcoming nature. Our sincere condolences to Sylvia, Deb, Char, and all the family.
