Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryPIERETTE IRMA DAGESSE June 20, 1946 - September 8, 2017 Pierette (known to most as Perry) passed away on September 8, 2017 at the age of 71. Surviving her are son Kenneth Bilous (Leslie Haluska), grandson Brayden Bilous, son Richard Bilous and daughter Jennifer Bilous. Pierette was born in Winnipeg, Manitoba at the 'old Grace' Hospital and subsequently made the 'new Grace' Hospital her place of employment. She worked at the Grace Hospital from 1976 until her retirement in 2015. Many will remember her as the 'Operating Room slating clerk' and lastly as a patient registration clerk. Pierette spent the first 10 years of her life in Haywood, Manitoba where her adoptive parents, Alice and Ovide Dagesse, farmed. In 1956 the family moved to Winnipeg. Winnipeg was home to Pierette for the remainder of her life. In retirement, Pierette spent countless hours at her computer, with the odd bicycle ride in the summer, met with friends for coffee, but the mainstay of her existence was always her children first and foremost. She will be dearly missed by her children and friends. No son or daughter could ever ask for a more loving parent. She will never be forgotten in our thoughts or prayers. God, please bless our mom. In keeping with Pierette's wishes, cremation was immediate and no service was held. Our deepest condolences to Kenneth, Richard, Jennifer & families on the passing of your Mom. Perry was a dear friend and many good and memorable times were had when we lived across the street from one another. After she moved off the street we lost touch however running into her every once in a while at the Grace Hospital was special & gave us a chance to catch up on what was happening in our lives. Rest in peace Perry. - Posted by: Adele & Wilf Betts (Friend and former neighbour ) on: Oct 02, 2017
