  • I remember when our families got together when we were kids. My mom and Mitzi were very good friends, I’ll always remember Debby. So sorry for her passing, she was way too young. I just found the obit today sorry I wasn’t there for her memorial. May she Rest In Peace. Sharon - Posted by: Sharon Pospishell (Weppler) (Old family friend) on: Aug 08, 2019

  • Debby was one of my closest childhood friends. We laughed, ate, played, sang, danced, well - we did almost everything together and really enjoyed our time together. Her generous and beautiful spirit is what I will always remember. Rest in peace Debby ~ you will always be my special friend. Our utmost condolences to all the family. With love, Carol, and Terry (Cattani) Yakiwchuk - Posted by: Carol & Terry Yakiwchuk (Friends) on: Oct 09, 2017

  • Even though we didn't see each other much throughout the past years, I have many memories of you that will stay close with me forever. Playing cards at Uncle Steve's with Aunt Julie I knew was a moment in time that wouldn't happen again and they both left us soon after. You came to Calgary and spent a wonderful few days with me 13 years ago just after Jesse was born. We always laughed so hard that you were bald just like Jesse! A few years later when we visited you and Randy we will never forget Randy and your brothers taught Jesse how to throw a ball. Last year at Countryfest it was a quick reunion but it happened thanks to you always keeping in touch. Will miss you, your emails, and that piece of the Belza history that is gone with you. Randy, Doug, Doreen, Tom, Gail and family - thinking of you all and sending our love. Rhonda, Dave, Jesse, and Jade. - Posted by: Rhonda Davis & family (Cousin) on: Oct 05, 2017

  • God saw you getting tired, The cure was not to be He wrapped you in His loving Arms, And whispered "Come to Me" You suffered much in silence, Your spirit did not bend You faced your pain with courage, Until the very end You tried so hard to stay with us Your fight was not in vain God took you to His loving Home And freed you from your pain A golden heart stopped beating, Two working hands at rest God broke our hearts to prove to us, HE ONLY TAKES THE BEST There are no words that can describe the sadness felt on Debbie's passing. Whenever I think of her, I can hear her voice. I am sad that Molly and I did not have a chance to see her one more time before she left us. She will be sadly missed by both of us. Rest well in heaven sweet angel. - Posted by: Cindy and "little" Molly Schultz (Friends) on: Oct 05, 2017

  • Debby and I met in Tucson not long after my husband died a few years ago. We spent time together after that and her positive spiritual nature comforted my soul more than anything else. She was a beacon of music, hope and light. May her spirit continue to shine on us all. - Posted by: Bea Hagen (Friend) on: Oct 05, 2017

  • Debby was one of those special people you never forget once you met them. 2 years ago we agreed to get ukes and bring them to Trout and play while camping. We arrived before the festival and spent a whole day jam min'. Deb was so proud of her Uke. She told us how it was a gift from a friend. • Dear Randy and family, Not sure there will ever be anyone ever again like Deb. She was the kindest, most loving person I've ever known. I'm sure no one had as many friends as her. She taught me to hug, something I didn't know how to do until I met her. Will miss her so much. Stay strong. - Posted by: Leslie MacCallum (friend) on: Oct 03, 2017
