LAWRENCE CLIFFORD BENDER Lawrence Clifford Bender, of Birtle, Manitoba, passed away on Friday, September 29, 2017 at the age of 86 years. Lawrence was predeceased by his first wife Floraine and his great-grandson Noah Sparvier. He is survived by his wife Agnes; children: Gwen (Brad) Sparvier, of Regina, SK, Randy (Maria) Bender, of Coquitlam, BC and Debbie (Leonard) Jensen, of Birtle, MB; grandchildren: Andre Sparvier, Aaron (Renee) Sparvier, Marina Bender, Michael Bender, Matthew Bender, Derrick (Kayla) Jensen and Lynsey Jensen; great-grandchildren: Nathaniel Morrow, Ethan Sparvier, Reese Sparvier; and sister Evelyn (Frank) Krahenbil, of Broadview, SK. The funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 7, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. from the Birtle United Church, Birtle, MB, with Rev. Elaine Dixon officiating. Private family interment will follow in the Birtle Cemetery. If friends so desire, donations may be made to the Sunnyside Manor Personal Care Home, Birtle, MB or a charity of their choice.
