FREDERICK JAMES MARRIOTT 1949 - 2017 Peacefully, after a valiant battle, it is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Fred Marriott on September 30, 2017. He leaves to mourn his loving wife, Yvonne, his sons (his pride), Fred Jr. (Jill) and Cary (Lynn), his grandchildren Tyler, Dayna, Gray and Griffin, and his devoted brother Ric and niece Maegan. Fred enjoyed riding his Harley and entertaining friends in his garage. He also had a "green thumb". The family wishes to express their appreciation to the Palliative Care unit at the St. Boniface Hospital, in particular the nurses who bravely endured Fred's "irritation" or "the stink eye" as it was called. Per Fred's wishes, there will be no services. Anyone wishing to pay their respects may do so by donation to CancerCare Manitoba.
