WILHELMINA FLATT Wilhelmina Flatt of Winnipeg and Neepawa, beloved sister of Arnold Flatt, Joyce Scott and Donald Flatt; entered into rest on February 26, 2017 at the age of 92 years. A private family graveside service will be held on Friday, October 13, 2017. Friends are invited to a Memorial Luncheon, to be held on Friday, October 13, 2017, beginning at 3:00 p.m. at the Neepawa Golf and Country Club, Neepawa, MB. Donations may be made to CancerCare Manitoba or a charity of choice. Willa was a great supporter of her teachers. On one occasion, she asked me to talk about a program I was using in my classroom, at an area meeting. She walked me through the presentation, making sure I would do a good job. It was a small job, as these projects often can be, but to Willa, all work had importance and deserved respect. The prep for my talk was all done after regular work hours. The care that Willa showed me in this project gave me confidence that I would be able to present my program points in a professional manner. Many of the skills learned in the presentation were used in other projects over the years. I was fortunate to have met up with Willa at a Retired Women Teachers Association Luncheon in the last couple of years. It was wonderful to see her and talk with her, one last time - as it turned out to be. My condolences to Willa's family.
