Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryLESZEK KOLBER November 8, 1936 to October 6, 2017 Peacefully, with his loving family at his side, Leszek passed away on October 6, 2017. He was surrounded by his beloved wife of 57 years Irena, his daughters Violetta (Tom Hauptkorn), Ilona and Dorothy, and will be sorely missed by his adoring granddaughters Jackie and Natalia. Dad was born in Poland, immigrated with his family to Canada in 1973 and was the epitome of a hard worker, never missing a day of work in over 22 years at Bristol Aerospace. Our dad fought the bravest battle and we want to sincerely thank Dr. Koulack, all the incredible staff at Health Sciences Centre, GA3, the PCU, Holy Family Home and GD4. Everyone showed such wonderful compassion to our dad and our family. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, October 12, at 10:00 a.m. at Holy Ghost Roman Catholic Church, 341 Selkirk Avenue. Interment to follow in Holy Ghost Cemetery.
