ANNA GRACE BALDERSTONE January 26, 1922 - August 19, 2017 Grace was the youngest of eight children born to Joseph and Agnes Euphemia Balderstone, early residents of West St. Paul. After completing Grade XI locally, Grace attended Jean Bjornson School for Grade XII and then graduated from the Provincial Normal School. Her teaching career began at West St. Paul and progressed through a long-term assignment at Earl Grey School, followed by a year's sabbatical to complete her BA Degree. Placements followed at Norquay, Machray, David Livingstone, and Champlain Schools. She retired in 1982. Throughout her life, Grace seized every available opportunity to personally participate in sports. This included tennis, bowling, cross-country skiing, canoeing, ice-skating, and coaching baseball and soccer. On a long-term basis, Grace golfed at Rossmere and curled at the West St. Paul Curling Club. Grace also held Winnipeg Blue Bombers seasons tickets for 42 years. Together with family and friends, Grace travelled widely. Destinations included Australia, New Zealand, Scandinavian Countries, Great Britain, Ireland, Austria, Switzerland, Germany, Italy, Bermuda, Hawaii, and last but not least Carribean Countries during two cruises with Country Villa friends. Grace also participated in golf tours to Portugal, Spain and Florida, and as a curling enthusiast, she attended eight World Curling Championships. Grace's passing completes the Balderstone Family Circle. She was predeceased by her father in 1928; mother in 1980; sisters, Eleanor (1915 infancy), Georgie (1984), Phame (Tom) Emes (1998), Margary (2005), and Dorothy (Josh) Langton (2006); brothers, Joseph "Bud" (Edna) 1999 and John C.
