Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryJOHN TED EISSES October 15, 1922 - October 2, 2017 Ted passed away peacefully at the Purdy Pavillion/UBC Hospital in Vancouver at the age of 94. He was predeceased by his loving wife Fenna (Jansen van Doorn) April 6, 1976 and is survived by his four sons and grandchildren - Ted (Donna, Cole, Jenna), Ron (Janet, Alex, Nick), Andy (Bryan) and Rob (Ines, Eden, Loren, Henna). Ted was born in Holland and moved to Winnipeg in 1950. He married Fenna in 1958 and started a family in addition to owning the Cottage Bakery for over 25 years. He enjoyed retirement spending summers at West Hawk Lake, doing volunteer work and moving to Vancouver in the early 1990s to be closer with his family. Ted loved his family, made friends easily and touched everyone he met. A great role model with a curious mind, he enjoyed life and a daily glass of wine. He will be sadly missed but always in our hearts.

Ron, I was so sad to learn of your Dad's passing. He was such a kind and amazing man and I have many fond memories, especially from West Hawk Lake. My sincere condolences to you and your family.
