Born: Nov 19, 1950
Date of Passing: Oct 03, 2017
Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryROBERT MITCHEL (BOB) PEARSON November 19, 1950 - October 3, 2017 After a brief illness, Bob passed away Tuesday, October 3, 2017, with his loved one by his side. He is survived by his daughter Zanne Marleen Pearson, previously married to Noëlle, of Amsterdam; and brothers, Jeff, Jamie (Laurie) and Brian Pearson. Previously deceased by father Denver Pearson, mother Joyce Pearson and brother Douglas. Bob's travels took him to many places with lifelong friends made along the way, but his love of the arts and Vincent Van Gogh drew him to his eventual home in Amsterdam. He was forever grateful to his friends for always reaching out to him, especially with his being so far from most. He was touched deeply by the visits over the years and of course the skyping even up to his final day. Bob felt it rather poetic to be so well cared for by the medical staff at the 'Stichting Hospice Amsterdam' which is located on Vincent Van Goghstraat. A farewell ceremony has taken place prior to cremation at the Zorgvlied Cemetery, Amsteldijk 273 in Amsterdam. Disappearing Into the horizon on rusting rails They were tied and spiked I walked by myself into nowhere To go somewhere I liked From the song 'there and back' by Bob Pearson

I worked with Bob for a short period in the 1980s and have never forgotten. Bob taught me a few songs that we sang in duet. Rest in peace, old friend. May the music be with you. - Posted by: Ingerid S. (Friend ) on: Jan 30, 2019
