Condolences & Memories (23 entries)

  • Im am so sorry to hear of Grant's passing. He would always talk about his loving wife and how his son was taking an interest in electronics and computers but in his own way:) and how he was happy his daughter had bought a home and what the next project over there would be. I know how much he loved to get out on the lake to do some fishing but i do beleve by the way he talked about you guys, his true passion was his family. It was so great to have knowen Grant over the past 5 years as his massage therapist he gave a lot to everyone even helping me with lights and sterio equipment and all the long hours did take a tole on his body. I know he is up in heaven pain free. Heaven's gained another angel. R.I.P Grant. You will be missed by many. - Posted by: Christine komishin (Friend) on: Dec 12, 2017

  • For years Grant graciously donated his time and skill in repairing many specialized toys and devices used by the children living in St Amant. For many of the kids at St Amant, Grant was like their very own Special Santa; the person who could magically repair or adapt a toy so that they could enjoy it. On behalf of the staff at St Amant who had the pleasure of meeting Grant, and all the children whose days were made happier by his work, we want to say how much we appreciate his time and generosity given over the years. Thank you Grant for your gifts of care and happiness; our hearts will hold these forever. - Posted by: Julianne Panthei (through work with children in St Amant) on: Oct 25, 2017

  • My heartfelt sympathy to the Kuhl family. I had the privilege and fortune of knowing Grant for many years, since junior high school and throughout the years we stayed in touch. I can honestly say that he was one of the most generous people that I had the pleasure of knowing. Intelligent and creative beyond belief – an ingenious quality to aspire to – this transcended from a young person into adulthood. There were numerous times when I would contact him for advice, and he would willingly and graciously offer his time and effort to provide assistance no matter the circumstances – because, this was just the kind of person he was. He will be deeply missed but not forgotten. Thank you Grant for being such a incredible friend. - Posted by: Blake Podaima (Friend) on: Oct 25, 2017

  • My deepest condolences to Grants' family. I first met Grant in High School. We shared the same classes at RRC, sometimes car-pooling together. Grant is one of those rare guys who when we bump into each other every hand full of years we can pick up right where we left off. He's always the same ol' Grant and we always have many laughs. Very sad news - this super guy will be missed. - Posted by: Grant McMechan (Ol' buddy) on: Oct 24, 2017
