Date of Passing: Oct 17, 2017
Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryJEAN FRANCES ROSE KISSOCK (nee MURRAY) On October 17, 2017, a beautiful fall day, a precious heart stopped beating Surrounded with more love than one family could imagine, mom made her journey to heaven. Mom leaves to cherish countless wonderful memories and the unconditional love she gave us, "her pal" Jack, and her very grateful children, Patty (Blake Williams and grandson Adam and Reagan); Debby (Jim Hislop, grandson Andy and granddaughter Jill); Tom (Shirley and granddaughter Charlene and Cort) and Murray (Robin and grandson Benjamin and Cassandra). Our mom would have celebrated her 84th birthday on November 19th and our mom and dad would have celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary on December 22. Dad, your kids can never "thank you" enough for your unending love and caring devotion to our mom over the last 14 years we love you so much Also left to celebrate her memory are numerous brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews and cousins. To respect mom's wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no funeral service. In lieu of flowers, please give a hug to those who are special to youdonations the Heart and Stroke Foundation, 2430 Victoria Ave., #3, Brandon, MB, R7B 0M5 would be appreciated. The family would like to give a big heartfelt "thank you" to Dr. Parker and the nurses of the PDGH Medical Ward, mom's homecare workers and the staff of McKenzies Portage Funeral Chapel. Your care and compassion was greatly appreciated in making mom's final hours comfortable and dignified. "We love you mom" and it gives us great comfort to know you took our love with you In tears we saw you sinking, And watched you fade away. Our hearts were almost breaking We wanted you to stay. But when we saw you sleeping So peacefully and free from pain How could we wish you back To suffer that again? It broke our hearts to lose you But you didn't go alone For part of us went with you The day God called you home. A tree will planted and cared for by McKenzies Portage Funeral Chapel. www.mckenziesportagefuneralchapel.com 204-857-4021
