Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryGERARD MAURICE RICHARD June 16, 1966 - August 12, 2017 Gerry was a kind and special person who cared for his loved ones very much. He enjoyed many hobbies throughout his life, including building models and trains, scuba diving, hunting, archery, and cooking. He was funny and enjoyed laughing, and was sometimes too witty for even some to understand. He will be remembered by his niece, Ashley, and his many cousins and extended family. He was predeceased by his mother, Mary Richard, his father, Damas Richard, and his brother, Robert Richard. He held a special love for his grandmother, Virginia McLeod. His dream was to grow old with his brother, Robert, in their childhood home. As he would have wanted, Gerry will be laid to rest beside Robert at Chapel Lawn, 4000 Portage Avenue, on Saturday, October 28, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. Following this there will be a potluck style feast at the Thunderbird House at 715 Main St. from 12:00 noon until 3:00 p.m. All who wish to honour and celebrate Gerry's life are welcome.
