Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryPAUL ANDRES CLEMENS May 10, 1943 - October 22, 2017 Paul Andres Clemens, beloved father, lover, brother and friend, passed away peacefully at home on October 22, with his daughter, Kristiana, and cat, Fig. Paul is survived by Kristiana. He was predeceased by parents, Paul and Mabel; brother, Eric; sister, Val; and partner, Carole Chambers. Also mourning his passing are his sister, Lenore; nephews, Jeremy and Noah; Kristiana's mother, Pamela Waddell Clemens; as well as his extended and chosen families of relatives, friends and neighbours. Born and raised in Winnipeg, Paul lived in Ottawa, Edmonton and Vancouver before moving to Hornby in 1993. Intellectual and philosophical, Paul loved music, science and word games. He was perhaps best known for his sonorous voice, playful songs and accounting skill. Generous to a fault, deeply loyal, introverted and reflective, he found spiritual refuge amid the forests and rocks of his cherished island home. A memorial gathering for friends and family will be held at New Horizons, 1765 Sollans Road on Hornby Island, Sunday, October 29 at 1:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Kitchen at Joe King ballpark on Hornby Island.

I am so saddened to learn of Paul's passing, my old neighbour and pal. There are many very good memories of our early years as friends and the good times we played, laughed and hung out together, and I'm thankful for times. Good bye old friend, I'm sorry we couldn't have seen one another over the last few decades. - Posted by: Rod Willoughby (Old school friend and pal) on: Oct 29, 2017

Looking at that smile brings back so many memories of our times together at First Icelandic Lutheran Church and Summer visits to Gimli. The 3 musketeers, Wayne, Paul & Mel would show up at my Mom's cabin to terrorize us. Such fun times, my Mother loved them all. Paul was a great friend to Wayne & I and I'm sorry we lost touch. I hope he & Wayne are reminiscing in Heaven right now. Thinking of all the Clemens family and especially Kristiana & Pamela. Ruth Gray - Posted by: Ruth Gray (Friend) on: Oct 24, 2017
