ELIZABETH (BETTY) ANN SMEDEROVAC (nee SOKOLOSKY) October 24, 1944 - October 22, 2017 It is with broken hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, sister, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt and friend, Elizabeth Smederovac, known to everyone as Betty. She is predeceased by her parents Theodore and Teenie Sokolosky and her son Adam Peebles. She will remain in the hearts of her brothers Robert, Michael (Lynn), her daughter Bonnie, her sons Daniel (Tracy) Christopher (Jo), Desmond (Shannon), Darren (Monique), 14 grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren. Betty was a wise, beautiful woman with an amazing smile who loved her family unconditionally. Independent and full of life and courage, she was our confidante, our strength and most honest friend. She was our strongest ally who never stopped wanting love between us all. She will be forever loved and never forgotten. A celebration of Betty's life will be held on Sunday, October 29, 2017 at 422 Seven Oaks Avenue, Winnipeg, MB from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Once more our chain is broken And nothing is the same But as God calls us one by one Our chain will link again.
