Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryCATHY MARYLIN LASZLO (née CHUBATY) It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of our beloved Cathy on October 1, 2017 at her residence in Langley, British Columbia. She leaves to mourn her daughter Alyssa Laszlo, and Ken Laszlo in B.C.; her mother Anne Chubaty; sister Chris Ring (Chuck); and brother Ron, in Winnipeg, Manitoba; and, brother Randy (Starla), in Fairmont, Minnesota; as well as her nieces and nephew, Christy Ring, Caitlin Ring (Matthew Isles), Amanda Chubaty and Alex Chubaty. She will also be missed by Coco, her little dog and constant companion. She was predeceased by her father in 1999. Cremation has taken place. A private family service and interment will be held at a later date in Winnipeg. Donations, in Cathy's memory, may be made to St. Anne Ukrainian Catholic Church, 35 Marcie Street, Winnipeg, Manitoba.

Just remembering Cathy on what would have been her 65th birthday. She left us far too soon. I miss our times together, especially those long nights making Christmas decorations in her basement. I still hang my "walnut people" on my tree and set out my "puffy angels" each Christmas and remember my good times with Cathy. - Posted by: Pauline (Friend) on: Nov 12, 2021

Hi Alyssa: I will never forget Cathy your Mom, and all the happy times we shared together. I still laugh thinking about how your Mom was the ONLY smart person staying on shore and the 4 of us all flew off the Banana boat into shark territory. We did so much together as a group and I will cherish all these memories. You both were so fun to grow up with, and I'm always here for you. I miss Cathy more than I can imagine possible. Our friendship grew over these last almost 30 years, traveling with Alyssa, and my children to Florida, Honolulu, the Caribbean to Barbados, Punta Cana, and many other destinations. We traveled, we laughed, we shared and most important we made lasting memories. We traveled during spring breaks at the children's schools and did crafts thru the winter months. It is with great sadness I am forced to say goodbye, it was much too early for you to go. Cathy never complained but I know each day was not easy but dear friend it is time for you to rest, and for the rest of us to miss you terribly. There will be no other to replace you.
