I met Brian in about 1983 on an all-inclusive trip to Cuba. In those days we had to line up at 4:00 a.m. with the all the SnowBirds at the old Winnipeg terminal. I noticed him right away (he was kinda cute) but dismissed him as he had a Weilder Hand Grip Exercise Thing in his back pocket...thot that was TACKY! Long story short we became great friends and he and I (as friends) went often on his motorcycle, stayed together at a Lee River cottage & had pizza numerous times. Sadly we lost touch. I lost a brother-in-law to ALS and one night I had the TV on CBC on the background and when I heard his name went to watch. I cried my eyes out even though I hadn't seen him is 30 years. He was a good person. Maureen Jay (long ago friend) - Posted by: Maureen Jay (Friend from a Cuba Adventure) on: Sep 09, 2020
