STEPHANIE JULIA MCGILL It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Stephanie McGill on October 28, 2017 after a lengthy illness. Stephie was predeceased by her beloved son Jeffrey in 1999. She leaves to mourn her passing her loving husband of 57 years, Earl McGill, and her daughters Natalie (Dean) Sever and Lori (Dave) Belza, along with four grandchildren Michael (Stephanie), Alexis, Sarah and Jayden, as well as many other family members and friends. Stephie was born on July 20, 1938 in Jaudoy, Sceine Marne, France and immigrated to Canada with her family in 1951. Stephie worked for 20 years at Great West Life. Stephie enjoyed doing many crafts throughout her life. She had a talent for needle work and made many beautiful petit point pictures. She also spent many hours knitting, crocheting, and sewing. Stephie loved spending time with her family at the cottage in Lester Beach. In the early years she spent many summer days on the beach with her friends and in later years she very much enjoyed flower gardening. In keeping with Stephie's wishes she has been cremated and put to rest beside her beloved son Jeffrey. We mourn her passing and are glad she is finally at peace. Special thanks to the staff at Park Manor for their care and compassion. A private celebration of Stephie's life has already taken place. Donations in her honour may be made to CancerCare Manitoba.
