Condolences & Memories (2 entries)

  • My condolences to you Ross and your family. You are in my thoughts and prayers. - Posted by: Shirley J Russell () on: Nov 07, 2017

  • I have known Alf Lindsay since the day I was born. My parents(Syd & Mary Rushforth) had the privilidge of being Alf and Doris 's neighbor since the end of World War II . Syd and Alf became real good friends on the boat that brought them home from the war together and remained so to this day. Alf was always there to lend a helping hand to anyone who needed help regardless of time. I do not know what I would have done without Alf and Doris's support when my Dad passed and then my Mom & sister Sharon. He was always there to help & support me at any time. He became like a Dad to me. Alf looked after our horses on the farm every day for quite a few years after my Dad died. . That was the way he was. I always loved the time I spent with him and Doris in my childhood years and especially in the past 27 years. We had a lot of special times together. Memories that will last a lifetime. He was one in a million. He was the definition of " A FRIEND" Rest in Peace my good friend. Our love and support go out to our friend and their son Ross. God Bless you - Posted by: Evelyn & Trevor( & girls) Tilston-Jones ( Very dear Friends(more like family)) on: Nov 06, 2017
