BOB I. MORRISON August 15, 1953 - October 31, 2017 Bob passed away unexpectedly on October 31. Bob was predeceased by his parents, Ruth and Bob; his brother Donald Murray; his aunt Joan and uncles, George and Don. He is survived by his sisters, Joanne Hyslop and Susan Morrison (Ray Maurice); his brother Michael (Heather) and niece Melody. From early boyhood days Bob had a great sense of humour and always enjoyed a good chuckle. He spent many wonderful summers at Lake of the Woods entertaining family and friends with his sharp wit and easy good natured laughter. Many a problem was solved while sharing a drink and playing cards. More recently, as Bob's health declined, he was content to spend most of his free time quietly on his own with the company of a good book. For 25 years Bob worked as an Education Assistant for the Pembina Trails School Division. The last 11 years were spent at Arthur A. Leach where Bob found a great deal of satisfaction working with staff and students. Over the years he would share stories about the students and his pride in their successes in the classroom and extra curricular activities was very evident. In accordance with Bob's wishes, there will not be a funeral service. If you wish to make a donation in Bob's memory, please direct it to the Winnipeg Humane Society. Bob was very generous especially looking after his uncle Donald. I remember him and his siblings at Christmas dinners with fondness. - Posted by: Andrew Campbell (2nd Cousin) on: Jan 10, 2024

Sending warm wishes for comfort at this time of losing Bob. I had the pleasure of working with Bob at Arthur A. Leach School just since January 2017. I built a bond with Bob as he loved to read, and being the school’s library technician we would have our daily morning visit in the library. I grew so fond of Bob in the short time we worked together. He was a good man, and really dedicated to his work and the kids at the school. During his last days at work I was assisting him with retirement forms/packages and was so hoping that he could rest and increase his strength and have enjoyment in his retirement. My heart is heavy with losing him as a colleague and a friend. My very deepest condolences to all his family members.
