Condolences & Memories (7 entries)

  • I was sorry to read Dale's obituary and send you and you children best wishes. I worked with Dale many years ago in the Federal Job Creation Program. He was serene, generous and sincere. He loved you so much. (Chris Dobbs Knows who I am.) My condolences are strong. But I believe that while Dale will no longer be at your side physically he will be with you and your family always. - Posted by: Esther Korchynski (employed together many years ago) on: Nov 22, 2017

  • Dear Penny and family, Dick and I were shocked and saddened to read about Dale's sudden passing. We remember well coming back to your house many years ago for brunch after Dale and Dick (and my friend Jaymi) were all running in a race together. Over the years Dick has come to know your family well through business. May you take comfort in all your memories of good times. • Penny and family, we are so saddened and sorry for your loss. Dale was such a kind and gentle man. We both were long time work colleagues of Dale's and as such, Dale made our working environment so much more fun and interesting throughout the years. Many, many adventures were also shared for a great number of years at the deer camp with precious memories made and relived countless times. We are blessed to have known Dale and to have such treasured memories of him. Ivan Didiuk and Judy Ludwig - Posted by: Ivan Didiuk and Judy Ludwig (Friends and past work colleagues) on: Nov 15, 2017

  • I am so saddened to hear of Dale's sudden passing. He truly was one of a kind and such a gentleman to work with. He always had a big smile, infectious laugh and was a great asset to our department. He was very proud of his family and spoke of them often. I used to enjoy seeing what Penny made Dale for lunch as it always smelled delicious when you walked by his office. He knew he was blessed and didn't take anything for granted. He had a nice photo of his dear dog Jake on his computer screensaver but was quick to show family photos. We had some great chats about 'life' and he had a lot of wisdom. You always felt better by being around him and he was so kind & thoughtful. One day he brought me a deer heart to work after I had told him of being fond of heart. I was very touched by this and the reaction of other co-workers was priceless. I am so very sorry for your loss. Dale was truly special to many. My prayers go out to Dale's family and close friends. - Posted by: Brenda Letain (Former Co-Worker (Western Economic Diversification)) on: Nov 14, 2017

  • Dear Penny, we are so very sad to hear about the passing of Dale. Dale was good friend, we all had such good times together all thru our working days and after. Dale was a very sensitive and caring man. When we lost our son he phoned and let us know how sorry he was. Takes a special person to do that. Penny we truly are very sorry for your loss. - Posted by: Christine Dobbs and LANG Watson (Friend) on: Nov 11, 2017
