MARK KUZNAK March 5, 1964 November 6, 2017 With heavy hearts we announce the passing of Murray Albert Ralph Kuznak at the age of 53. Mark will be sorely missed by his partner in crime Doug Buffie who kept him comfortable and happy from the beginning of his short battle with cancer to his final day. Also mourning his loss are sisters, Betty-Ann (Alan), Faye (Don); brothers, Bill (Gloria), John (Gwen); numerous nephews and nieces and good friends, Janice Zawerucha and Arnie Ryba. Mark started his career with the City of Winnipeg on November 4, 1991 as a technician in the Civic Properties Division Design Branch. He was not only a coworker but a dear friend. He was always willing to lend a hand managing both the coffee and lottery groups. Mark was the life of the office group. Not wanting or looking to be the center of attention, but many times he would be. His humour and kindness was always visible. His regular coffee group had become a daily ritual of the 10:00 a.m. meeting to discuss whatever big project was being worked on. He became Municipal Accommodations Lead CAD technician involved in many city buildings projects. Mark was liked by everyone who met him. Mark had a unique flare for creating beautiful pieces of stained glass which he made for friends and family throughout the years. We will treasure them forever! Cremation has taken place. Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, November 18, 2017 2:00 to 4:00 p.m., Club 200, 190 Garry Street. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to CancerCare Manitoba Foundation. www.voyagefuneralhomes.com

Mark, although we have not been in touch for a very long time, I still think of our old group of friends and will always remember you as a great guy. We had so many fun times together and I always look back at those memories fondly and I was very happy to have a friend like you in my life. I am sure that all of Mark's friends and family know how much of a positive impact he had on others. Be at peace, old friend. - Posted by: An old friend () on: Jan 02, 2018

Dear Betty-Ann, Faye, Bill, John Jr. and each of your individual extended families. We wish to express our sincerest and deepest sympathy at the untimely, and premature passing of your "Dearest Brother Mark". Each of you, along with Mark's significant other Doug, are presently experiencing a very personal loss and with that are experiencing your own personal grief. We pray that you all have the individual strength to guide you through this very difficult time. Mark was a kind, loving, caring and socialable man, who made new friends with ease and confidence. We first met Mark at Faye and Don's wedding over 48 years ago when Mark was in his late teens. Since that time, we have witnessed Mark rise to every occasion with--his many talents, his pleasing personality, his love for his family, his dedication to his successful career, and his genuine caring of his many friends and co-workers, as he journeyed through his "shortened live". Mark will be dearly missed by everyone who had the pleasure of knowing him. We pray that you all have the strength to guide you through this very difficult time. Dear Mark; you have now reached "the otherside" where you will rest in eternal peace. With our Most Heartfelt Sympathy, Valerie and Tony - Posted by: Valerie and Tony Kent (Friends) on: Nov 17, 2017

Mark was a very friendly, but private, person. We enjoyed having him as a visitor in our home, conversing about many subjects. He especially was enthusiastic about his fascinating hobby with stained glass and fashioned many interesting pieces. His ambition was to create an underwater design with coral, fish, treasure chest, shells and starfish. God bless him!! We will all miss him and will draw on personal 'memories' of good times with Mark. Chester and I offer our deepest sympathies to the families of Faye, John Jr. Bill, Betty-Ann and his friend Doug. - Posted by: Stella Korbyck Barrow (Cousin) on: Nov 10, 2017
