Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMURIEL LEVY February 14, 1930 - November 2, 2017 It is with great sadness that we say goodbye to Muriel Alice Grace, our beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Muriel is sadly missed by her son Paul (Diane); grandson Steven (Brooklyn); granddaughter Christine (James); and great-granddaughter Abigail. Muriel was predeceased by her husband Bill, and sister Margaret Bishop. Muriel passed peacefully, at age 87 years, in her home at Walden Heights in Calgary on November 2, 2017. She spent the last two years with her family at her side but greatly missed her friends in Winnipeg. Muriel was a long-term member of Patricia Chapter of the Order of the Eastern Star where she dedicated much time to the organization. She was also an active member in her church community. A memorial service will be held at St. Peter's Church, 755 Elm Street, Winnipeg, on Saturday, November 18, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations being made in Muriel's memory directly to the Margaret Bishop Child Life Endowment Fund c/o Children's Hospital Foundation of Manitoba, CE501 840 Sherbrook Street, Winnipeg, MB R3A 1S1. Rest well, Muriel, back in the loving arms of Bill and Margaret. Sincere condolences on the loss of a wonderful lady. It has been 49 years since Ron and I travelled to Winnipeg to visit Muriel, Bill and Margaret. We have wonderful memories of that visit. We went to the cottage and out to visit Uncle Orville on the farm. When we moved to Manitoba we saw them occasionally and to this day I use Muriel's recipe for spaghetti sauce. It is a family favourite. Marilyn and Ron Bratti - Posted by: Marilyn Bratti (2nd cousin) on: Nov 10, 2017
